Thanks for stopping by!
Born in California, raised in Texas and now freezing in New England. I am mom to two wild boys aged eight and eleven. We moved to Newport, Rhode Island in 2016.
Photography fell into my life in 2007, and I couldn’t be more grateful! I have always been an artist and I am so fortunate to call this a job.
I’m a natural light photographer, specializing in family photography and weddings.
In my spare time, I am a nursing student, barista, proud cashier at the Naval War College, and a Newport Polo photographer. You will usually find me listening to music (I secretly wish I was born in the 70s so I could’ve grown up in the 80s)
I will call your kids “babies” because I believe they will always be that. I love playing and chasing your kids around trying to get real laughs. I love to let the kids have fun and be silly. Those faces that you tell them to not make on your special photo day are probably the ones I will encourage them to make. From there, they let me in… and I take care of the rest.
My goal as a photographer is to tell YOUR story. All moments. The funny ones, the happy ones and the ones filled with pure love. Every single thing that makes you a family, that’s what I love to see. Put all of your troubles behind you for just a short while, the stresses of life and enjoy one another. I want my sessions to be fun and effortless. And for the most part, they are! You’ll laugh, kiss, be silly, and cuddle. I want every session to be custom to you. You can bring a “prop” for a quick cute photo, but they are not necessary, they are just things. From the words John Lennon once said, “Love is all you need.”
Bring happiness, positivity and openness with you. Let me into your space and we will make magic together.
I am also proud to say that I am an international wedding photographer (yes, people love me so much they flew me to many amazing places to take their wedding photos!!!)
In my career, I have been fortunate to have traveled to many places: (click on a city to see more)
Praslin, Seychelles in Africa
San Francisco, California
You can watch a wedding slideshow HERE
and even a batmitzvah in New York City.
In 2012 I was nominated for Rangefinder’s Top 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography.

I was also asked to be a part of M4H’s Inspired Project. You can read my interview at http://myfourhensphotography.com/blog/?p=4698
